OHID Workshop Preparation
The OHID workshop will be conducted in compliance with international OHID Standard. PetroRisk shall provide an OHID Chairman & Secretary to carry out the OHID workshop, as well as the software PHA Pro.V8.
PetroRisk shall agree the OHID workshop attendees and develop the guidewords for use in the OHID prior to the OHID session.
PetroRisk shall produce an OHID agenda and send to the Client focal point for distribution to the OHID attendees prior to the OHID Workshop.
The guidewords will be populated into the PHA Pro V8 software prior to the OHID Workshop.
OHID Workshop Objectives
The objectives of the OHID Workshop study are:
- Identify Occupational Health Hazards that leads to potential ill-health
- Identify the causes or contribute to causing those occupational Health Hazards, e.g. physical hazards, chemical hazards, ergonomic Hazards
- Identify existing engineering or operational controls and measures that are included in the design for prevention or mitigation
- Where appropriate, identify additional prevention and/ or mitigation risk reducing measures (RRMs) for improvement to meet the ALARP Concept.
OHID Workshop
The OHID Workshop commences with the OHID Team using the pre-determined guidewords to populate the OHID worksheets and identify the hazards, determine the cause, consequence, and prevention/mitigation measures for each hazard.
For occupational health (OH) risks, the severity of the potential ill-health effect is based on the hazardous properties of the agent.
OHID Workshop Report
On completion of the Workshop, the OHID Workshop Report will be prepared and sent to Client and other attendees for review.
The OHID Workshop Report will include all the information required to show the methodologies used, attendees, activity/ selection through to recommendations.
The worksheets and recommendation list generated by PHA Pro V8 will be included in the report.
It shall be the responsibility of Client to collate the comments that shall be received in a timely manner. PetroRisk will make the necessary amendments, if required, and a final issue of the OHID Workshop Report will be distributed to the Client.
