Environmental Impact Assessment

The overall objectives of the EIA are to:

Describe how to design for environmental integrity with respect to the proposed facility design
Present an overview of anticipated environmental impacts based on an analysis of information available conceptual design data and the environment within which the project is to be located
Make recommendations regarding environmental issues that must be addressed in subsequent project phases, i.e. issues to be included in the detailed design and studies/ analysis that can only be conducted meaningful during or after detailed design
