PetroRisk was founded in 2013 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to provide process safety and risk management consulting and training for the oil and gas industry. The founder of the company, Fayyaz Moazzam, is recognized as a leading Process Safety and Risk Management expert by the process industry. Quality of services and responsiveness to the needs of clients have been the hallmarks of PetroRisk since its inception.
The consulting services offered by PetroRisk have ranged over the full spectrum of process safety and risk management. Our traditional projects cover such areas as process hazard analyses (PHAs), Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) Studies, Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), SIL Verification, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Fire Risk Analysis (FRA), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Constructability Reviews, Project Risk Assessment and Value Engineering.
PetroRisk offers a continually expanding portfolio of over 15 training courses that have been developed based on knowledge gained from the process industry. Public deliveries of the courses are offered throughout the year at various locations in the middle east and around the world. We also provide training courses in-house for clients which include our standard courses as well as customized versions of these courses.
Our clients are typically major oil and gas companies but also include medium and smaller sized companies. Generally, we serve the chemical, petrochemical, refineries and oil and gas companies. However, we also service other industries e.g. aviation, defense, government municipalities and infrastructure companies.
